So many of you know that lately I've had an obsession with entering giveaways and winning- yes winning. Shall I make you jealous and list some of the things I've won? Nah.
But thanks to Seth I realized it was becoming more of an addiction (isn't admitting it the first step?) than just a fun little hobby. So I'm taking a break from entering the giveaways and have decided I'm going to spend a little more time decorating my home. Just yesterday, while standing in my bathroom, I thought to myself "Sheesh! We bought this house with the intent to fix it up and here we are 4 years later and this bathroom is still yucky. What's up with that?!"
Anyways, I haven't decided which room I'm going to start with, it probably depends more on ideas or inspiration (or money). I love looking at different kids bedding, even if it's just to dream. I really like this set, especially the wall hangings - they look like something I could do my own version of.
So there you have it, hopefully by letting the world know, I will be true to my word - and actually do some decorating, instead of just wishing and dreaming the next four years away.
P.S. If you've made it this far, I just wanted to let you know that there will be actually be a review and giveaway on my site, yes this very site you're on. I won't tell you what it will be on, but one of you, my loyal followers, will get a little taste of what sucked me in.

If I'm ever taking Trey's picture and Peyton sees me, he just has to get in the picture
I realize the lighting is bad, but he still looks cute
Showing off his muscles

Cole with Aunt Ginger
Peyton LOVES climbing in here and swinging. He'll climb in and say "See mom? I'm like Trey! See mom?" He's even climbed in and fallen asleep a couple times.
Cole came running in my room and asked me if he looked like Indiana Jones. When I told him he certainly did, he said "Yeah, but I'm not the real Indiana Jones. Cause he kisses a girl and I am not that Indiana Jones!"
See what I mean?
He saw me taking Cole's picture with his Indiana Jones hat on and came running in with this hat.

Proof that Mom is always right
Cole was teasing Peyton and goofing around. I said "Cole, if you keep doing that you're going to get hurt." He didn't stop and not more than 1o seconds later he bangs his head into the wall and immediately this purple bruise appeared. Can't really say 'I told you so' to a crying 4 year old so I kissed it better.
(the picture doesn't show just how bad it is)

Middle of the day Conversation:
Easton: (as he's running up the stairs with Cole) Mom! Mom! Cole's nose is bleeding! It's bleeding and nothing even happened. He didn't fall. He didn't bang it. He didn't pick it really hard.
Me: Cole, come here, let me see. What happened?
Easton: Nothing happened Mom. It just started bleeding.
Cole: Yeah, and even Easton didn't punch me in the nose.
Peyton somehow learned how to do real flips (although he doesn't land on his feet, but he is only two). I'm not sure how he learned but he just shocked me one day while jumping on my bed. He can't do them all the time and of course whenever I would get out the camera for proof (because he's never done one in front of anyone else) he would land on his head or use his hands, like he does in the video. But it's still cute.

Easton did this all on his own and when he saw that I was looking at it, he said "That's for just in case someone doesn't know where the bathroom is." (Yes, that is the bathroom door on the right. Hopefully no one gets lost on the way.)

Who needs a stuffed animal?

Conversation at dinner last night:
Easton: Mom, I think even when I'm ten I'll remember I don't want to get married. I'll always remember that.
Me: Okay.
Cole: Mom, do I have to get married?
Me: Not if you don't want to.
Cole: Good. Cause I never want to get married.
Easton: Yeah. You and me will never get married, so we'll be brothers forever. We can live together. And move out together. Huh mom? We'll have to move out when we're older.
Me: Yep. Someday you'll have to move out.
Easton: That will make me sad. Oh wait! Can we take the Wii when we move out?
Me: I guess you probably can.
Easton: Yes! Then we can play the Wii whenever we want!
Cole: YES!!
I'm okay with a 4 and 5 year old thinking a Wii is just about the coolest thing in the world. Their feelings just better change when they reach the marrying age.
And thanks to Linda @ My Trendy Tykes for the link as a Featured Follower. :)

Random 2008
Here are some random (kind of recent) pictures that I just never posted about. So crazy to think that 2008 is over and done with! Thanks for sharing your 2008 with us and I hope we all have an amazing 2009!!
Playing in the leaves

My little monkeys jumping on (and off) the bed

Ending the jumping session with a band performance when they noticed the pile of pillows made a perfect stage
Seth walked downstairs one morning to find Peyton and Cole sitting exactly like this while watching tv

Here are pictures of my boys in their new suits. (Christmas presents from Grandma and Grandpa again, something I hope they keep getting every year. hint hint)
Action shot
Perfect fit every where but the length :)
I had no idea they made suits in his size, but SO adorable (ten times more adorable in person ;)
A little long again, and of course Peyton is sneaking in the picture

I'm finally doing a tag...
So I've been tagged before, but when I don't immediately do it, I forget about it. It's not that I'm being rude or ignoring the tag, I'm just forgetful. But for some reason I didn't forget about this one... I was supposed to take 10 random pictures in my house, so here they are...
This is Easton showing off his two missing teeth. He had to get the second tooth pulled on Monday (not because of cavities or any fault of my own, but I'll spare you the gross details). He will probably be without his two front teeth for 2 years! (I realize he looks a little funny, but it was hard for him to smile big enough to show the gap.)
This is what Peyton was doing while I was wandering my house looking for something at least a little interesting about me. I love pictures of sleeping babies!

This is what Easton and Cole were doing when they should have been picking up toys.
These are the lion cupcakes we made at preschool today. These are Cole's (Easton had already eaten his) pretty good for a 3-year-old, huh?
This is one wall of the preschool room I've started setting up in my basement. This is my first year trying to run a preschool and most of the reason things have been so hectic around here.
This is a rebate check I got in the mail today! I love free money, even if it comes from beer companies. I say, "Hey, if I don't take their beer money, that will just leave more money for them to make beer." ;) Don't worry, no beer had to be purchased to get the rebate.

These are 3 pictures of the wall I recently "decorated". Compared to how most of you decorate, this is pretty lame, but I'm still proud of it, mostly just cause I finally did something decorative. I painted the wall all by myself one night when Seth was at Youth Conference, and then put the rest of the stuff together, but I will give Seth the credit he deserves for hanging things on the wall. Don't they look so level?

These are my two storage areas that I finally organized! One for food and the other for toiletries/paper products. Now I can finally see everything I have, instead of having to dig through bags piled on top of each other on the basement floor.
I tag anyone who actually made it to the bottom of this!! I think this is fun to see things that people wouldn't normally blog about.
