I'm finally doing a tag...

So I've been tagged before, but when I don't immediately do it, I forget about it. It's not that I'm being rude or ignoring the tag, I'm just forgetful. But for some reason I didn't forget about this one... I was supposed to take 10 random pictures in my house, so here they are...This is Easton showing off his two missing teeth. He had to get the second tooth pulled on Monday (not because of cavities or any fault of my own, but I'll spare you the gross details). He will probably be without his two front teeth for 2 years! (I realize he looks a little funny, but it was hard for him to smile big enough to show the gap.)

These are the lion cupcakes we made at preschool today. These are Cole's (Easton had already eaten his) pretty good for a 3-year-old, huh?
This is one wall of the preschool room I've started setting up in my basement. This is my first year trying to run a preschool and most of the reason things have been so hectic around here.
This is a rebate check I got in the mail today! I love free money, even if it comes from beer companies. I say, "Hey, if I don't take their beer money, that will just leave more money for them to make beer." ;) Don't worry, no beer had to be purchased to get the rebate.

These are 3 pictures of the wall I recently "decorated". Compared to how most of you decorate, this is pretty lame, but I'm still proud of it, mostly just cause I finally did something decorative. I painted the wall all by myself one night when Seth was at Youth Conference, and then put the rest of the stuff together, but I will give Seth the credit he deserves for hanging things on the wall. Don't they look so level?
These are my two storage areas that I finally organized! One for food and the other for toiletries/paper products. Now I can finally see everything I have, instead of having to dig through bags piled on top of each other on the basement floor.

The Big 3-0!

I can't believe I forgot to do this on your birthday, but I guess that's pretty typical of my posts, I'm always late.
I am so lucky to be married to you! And our boys are just as lucky to have you as their dad! I can't believe you're 30, you hardly look (and act) a day over 25. Thanks for your love, your patience, your hard work, filling our lives with laughter and your friendship. I love you babe!

Guess I need to take more pictures of you with the older boys, especially East. :)

Are pigs flying?

The other day (actually for Seth's birthday) I made broccoli as a side (since that's his favorite veggie). We've had it plenty of times before, but Easton and Cole have never liked it (of course Peyton has), but I still always had them at least try one bite. This time they both ate it up SO fast. But if that weren't crazy enough.... I made a cheesecake for dessert which they usually love. Easton said "No thank you." And Cole took one bite and then asked me "Can I just have the broccoli instead?" He pushed his cheesecake aside and grabbed the bowl with the rest of the broccoli and finished it off!! What in the world?!?

Top Ten Things We Love About Easton

1. Your laugh. You love to laugh and when you start laughing hard we can't help but laugh with you, even if we don't know why you're laughing.

2. Your determination. The primary was encouraging everyone to memorize The Articles of Faith. You remembered this and worked so hard at it. Every night before bed, you would remind us that you needed to practice, instead of us having to remind you.

3. Your intelligence. You were the very first one in all of primary to pass off all The Articles of Faith, and you did it when you were only 4 years old. You can still recite back every single one. Amazing.

4. Your love for Cole. Whenever you get invited to a friend's house or party, you include him every single time. When you were playing a game with friends, the lady helping asked Cole if he wanted to be yellow, since that was the last color left. When Cole didn't want yellow, the lady said "Okay, I'll be yellow." (And was going to leave Cole out.) You immediately jumped in and said "Cole can be my green and I will be yellow."

5. Your common sense. One morning you asked mom what day it was. When she told you Thursday, you asked her "What do we do on Thursdays?" When she said nothing, you asked "Well, why do we have Thursdays then?" Good question.

6. How clever you are. One day for dinner you had 2 pieces of avocado on your plate, even though you don't like them, mom makes you try them. You left the table for a minute and mom ate one. When you noticed there was only 1 piece left, you asked "Hey, who ate one?" When mom admitted she did, you asked, "Oh, well do you want one more?"

7. Your protection of Peyton. Wherever we are, whatever we do, you are always concerned for Peyton.

8. Your love of music. You already have primary songs memorized on the piano. Not to mention you can play the drums and guitar on Rock Band.

9. Your sense of humor. You are always making up jokes, some that only make you laugh, but others that make us laugh. One of our favorites:
