christmas fun

Now that Christmas is almost here and gone... I'm finally getting around to posting a couple of the things we did this month.

Making Gingerbread Houses and Cookies
that I made from scratch!! I was pretty impressed with myself when they stayed up overnight (and are still standing today). And surprisingly it was not difficult and TONS cheaper than the kits we bought last year. I told Seth I'll be an expert at baking them (because there were definitely still some issues) in 3 years, so if anyone wants help then, feel free to ask. ;)

We did the cookies and set the houses up one night, so we could make sure they would actually stand. And decorated the houses the next night.

Decorating the Tree
I know the pictures are really dark, but I liked how these looked better than the ones with flash., that made everything too bright.

Seeing the Lights at Temple Square

My 5 handsome boys. Can't believe there will be 6 of them in less than 4 months!!

He was mad we were trying to take his picture instead of letting him run around.

Such a cute family you have, Dezi!!! Looks like fun,and very impressive about the gingerbread house making! I just buy one kit that they have to share, and I bought it with my b-day money because I figured that it's more for my sake and saving time than for theirs. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas this week!!!
