More Pictures of the Newlyweds

Just wanted to share some more pictures of the cute couple, these are ones my Aunt Martha took. I'm still bugged my camera wasn't working, especially now that I realized I just needed to replace the batteries. (It had enough power to turn on, just not work the flash... ugh!)

At the Draper Temple

Yes, I know this picture is not flattering of any of us, but since it makes me laugh every time I see it I had to put it in. (For the record, I think I have the most beautiful sisters, so maybe that is what makes this picture so funny - it so does not look like them. :)
Pictures before the Reception
Ginger with my 3 Stinkers (I think eventually 2 of the 3 smiled for the professional)
With their Parents
Both families
Ginger with the groomsmen (is that what they're called?)
Curtiss with the bridesmaids
At the Reception
Vannessa and Mandie
So I've decided I have a really weird smile... I'm gonna have to practice in the mirror or something

Congratulations Ginger and Curtiss!!!

My sister Ginger got married yesterday! I just can't believe she is now a married woman. And also very jealous that she is on her way to Mexico (can't remember where exactly, but I'm sure it's fabulous - especially compared to this weather)! It was such a beautiful day, despite the cold and rain and the fact that my toes still hurt today.

Here are just a few pictures my cousin, Portia, took. My camera of course wasn't working and I'm just so excited to share pictures of the exciting day that I had to share some of these.

The gorgeous couple (not the best view of them, but for now it's the best I have :)

Amazing Mandie

My sister Mandie is amazing! She ran a half marathon on Saturday! We missed being able to cheer her on because Easton had a soccer game (and she was just super fast). But we're still super impressed and proud of her! Also very inspired- maybe I'll be getting one of those fancy yellow ribbons next year... but we'll see...

Me, Cole (being silly), Mandie, Peyton, TJ and Tara
So far this is the only picture I have of my big belly with this pregnancy, since I know you're dying to see how huge I've gotten... :)

Peyton's Haircut

My boys were all over due for haircuts and I normally do them myself, but since we have weddings coming up I was worried I'd mess up big time.

Before haircut (don't worry, my hair got fixed too) So amidst all her crazy, stressful planning my wonderful sister Ginger offered to cut their hair. Peyton hadn't taken a nap yet that day, but it wasn't really that late in the day and he certainly has gone a few days without a nap at all. But almost immediately after starting the haircut... this happened.

Yep, my mom held his head up the whole time! What a silly boy! But at least we didn't have to deal with any crying or trying to jump out of his seat.

Happy Happy Easter

Decorating Eggs
Nothing really exciting to talk about here. Just pictures of us decorating eggs. Fun Easter times.

Yes, I realize Cole looks psycho in this picture, but I actually think I don' t look half bad and of course Peyt is super cute in it.

Searching for Eggs
We didn't go to any public Easter Egg Hunts this year. (Last year, I swore I would never try that again. Sorry, but watching a mom hold her 8 month old baby and grab a basket full of eggs while my little Cole ends up with one, is NOT my idea of fun! So as soon as my boys have cousins (hint, hint) I will start an annual family egg hunt, but until then it will just be us.) Peyton grasped the concept real fast and even found some when the older two thought there were no more. They of course had a lot of fun and so did we, watching them get excited and shout to each other every time they found one.

We painted Easter egg cookies for preschool. I've been doing this for a couple years with my boys, but this year decided to save it for preschool. It is such a fun thing to do and I must say I was very impressed with Easton's eggs! He really did them all by himself. He does say he wants to be an artist when he grows up (along with a chef and scientist :).

Beautiful Sisters

A couple weekends ago, we had bridal showers for my sister and sister-in-law. I wanted to take lots of pictures, but after only one, my flash decided to stop working. But here is the one picture I got. Aren't they all so beautiful? I can't believe my little brother and sister (Ginger) are getting married! So exciting! But crazy at the same time....

In order: This is Tara (my brother's soon to be wife, how lucky is he?!), my sisters Mandie and Linda

Happy April Fool's!

I've never been big on April Fool's Day, but for some reason this year I did quite a few things and they were super fun!

The boys started the day off having french fries and ketchup for breakfast. They didn't quite fall for the "french fries" (which were breadstick dough cut up to the small size, with sugar sprinkled on top) but they really thought I was having them dip it in ketchup. I was surprised they dared try (but I guess I shouldn't be since they love ketchup on just about anything). The ketchup was strawberry jam without the seeds.

Cole doesn't like jam, so he didn't like the "ketchup" but loved the french fries. He's the only one dressed because he has become very good at sleeping in. :) So by the time he got up, the other two were already dressed and ready for the day.

Easton and Peyton loved the breakfast!

The sushi I made for preschool snack time. The kids were SO grossed out when I told them we were having sushi (after earlier explaining to them what was in sushi :). They even started to plug their noses before I served it. It was very cute. And of course they loved it.

For dinner we had spaghetti and meatballs with my awesome friend Amy and her super cute kids.

And for dessert we had spaghetti and meatballs. They were fun to make and actually very easy. Some of the kids even thought they were real noodles on top of the cupcakes! (The noodles are frosting, the sauce is strawberry syrup and the meatballs are Whoppers.)

No sauce on Cole's cupcake, just how he likes his spaghetti.

Easton LOVED them and told me "We have got to make those tomorrow!"
