Please Tell Me...

I need people to tell me to stop yelling at this baby! I keep asking him why he just doesn't want to grace us with his presence. Enough already little man! Isn't 9 months long enough? We certainly don't want to drag it out longer than that!

Or do I?

Should I just enjoy getting more than 3 hours of sleep at night? Should I just appreciate 3 boys who can do things on their own? Should I enjoy not having to pack up half my house every time we leave?

I can't make up my mind...

So I guess I'll just keep letting this little guy be in charge...

At the Beach in Utah

We went to Willard Bay with some friends and their jet skis. :) The boys LOVED the beach - too much love for my taste. I realized that I am really just not an outdoorsy, get dirty kind of girl. (I guess I've always known that, it was just reaffirmed.) They had fun throwing the sand all over and at each other, and I held my tongue just letting them get filthy. And they had even more fun when they got to ride the jet ski with Seth. What a fun afternoon!

How I've Been Spending My Summer Vacation

I don't think these really need much explanation. With Seth for a dad, there's no way they couldn't be playing t-ball already. And we definitely are getting lots of it. There was one week that between Easton, Cole and Seth we had baseball games every single night of the week! (I can only imagine what it will be like when Peyton and baby are old enough to play!!!)

Check out this concentration...

Not always completely focused...
Good thing I LOVE watching my boys play!

Down to Single Digits...

I can't believe how close my due date is! I am down to 9 days left and I can't believe how fast it's flown by. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and we'll see if there's any hope for this little guy coming early, but I'm certainly not holding my breath.

Thought I'd take a picture of how I look with my big belly. Thanks to Easton for his great photo taking skills. :)

Happy Birthday Coley Cole!!

Or Co Co, according to Peyt

I can't even believe our second child is now 4 years old! How time flies!! What a sweet, smart, wonderful 4 year old he is!! He makes us laugh all the time and is constantly impressing us with his knowledge and memory.

One week in May the preschoolers were supposed to bring something that started with "Q" (the letter of the week) for show and tell. Cole came up to me that morning and asked "Does cute start with Q?" When I said sorry, but no. He said " Dangit! Cause I wanted to bring Peyton for show and tell!"

On the drive from Arizona to back home, Easton and Cole were telling us that they only wanted to drive to home and not drive anywhere again. Cole said "Only dad can go far places now!" (knowing that his work is in far off California). And Seth said that he would just make the boys go. To which Cole replied, "No! Cause I won't put my shoes on!"

Cole had a small birthday party on Friday with some friends at Chuck E Cheese. (I think he could go there every day and not get sick of it.) We had a lot of fun!
Batman cupcakes (I took the easy way on these ones)

Stuffing the pizza down so he could have frosting (yes, he only licked the frosting off and didn't touch the cupcake)

Normally, we sing Happy Birthday in the morning and they get to blow out candles on pancakes, waffles, muffins, whatever they choose for their birthday breakfast. Cole totally shocked me and picked cereal. So we had to sing to him at lunch with leftover pizza. :)
On his real birthday (Sunday) Grandma and Grandpa and TJ and Tara came over to celebrate.

Showing off his present from the TJs.
His Batman cake. He got up one night from bed, about a week ago, and asked "Mom, how many days till my birthday?" After I answered him, he got a huge grin on his face and said "I want a Batman cake for my birthday!" I told him that sounded awesome and then he turned around and went right back to bed.

Phoenix Zoo (Don't worry - last post from Arizona)

This zoo is HUGE!! I think we probably walked 10 miles that day :), well, maybe just 3. It was really cool because the animals seemed to be in a much more natural habitat than good old Hogle Zoo (which we still love by the way, especially because our membership to that got us 50% off here). We walked through a forest area (seriously, it was not even paved and it made for a fun time trying to push a stroller), although we never could figure out what we were supposed to see there. They had a small water park in it, which unfortunately for our boys we didn't know about before arriving and they didn't want to get wet in their clothes. Or maybe it was us being mean - if we couldn't cool off, neither could they.
They had camel rides. Cole and I chose to stay away from the smelly thing, and surprisingly, when we tried to get Peyton on he totally freaked out. I was shocked because he loves all animals - well I guess not camels.

We saw a tiger climb up a huge tree (I had no idea tigers could climb like that). Not the greatest picture, but he was up super high, hiding in the branches and it was too hard to see him in a picture and then he just came down too fast.
We got to walk around an area where monkeys are free to jump all over. (This wasn't the area, the monkeys were much smaller - I believe they were Spider Monkeys.)
One of the places they had for kids to play around on

Yes, that is half of his snow cone on his shirt - I think he did it on purpose and I didn't blame him one bit
Super cool zoo, just not great to do on a hot day on Arizona. We went through the last third of the zoo super fast because all we could think about was jumping in the pool.

Arizona Diamondbacks

While in Arizona, there was no way we couldn't go to a Major League Baseball game. (Seth has a dream to visit every Major League Baseball stadium.) It was a really cool stadium, that even had places for kids to play, which I thought would be great for when the boys got bored. However, the boys did really good and we did good at spacing out the food. :)
There was one extra cool thing that happened during the game. Between one of the innings, an umpire was trying to get our attention (but we didn't notice) so he got some guy to walk over to us (we were maybe on row 8) and tell Easton that the umpire wanted to see him! So Easton and Seth walked up to where the umpire was and he handed Easton one of the balls the players had been using! I don't think Easton quite understood what that meant, but we sure thought it was cool! Out of all the people and kids around us, pretty dang cool for him to pick out East.

Swimming in Arizona

The boys sure loved swimming. They could not get enough of the pool and I am proud to say there were no sunburns among all us whities.

Easton was always showing off all the great things he could do, like putting his whole face under water and jumping from the side of the pool.

Cole was definitely the most hesitant and spent most his time on the stairs or kiddie pool, but that's alright. Nothing wrong with that.

We discovered Peyton is pretty much a little fish. He didn't care if anyone was around to catch him, he would just jump right in the pool. He really couldn't get enough of the water.

Seth was trying to teach Easton different things in the pool. Peyton saw them doing this and immediately started shouting "My turn! My turn!"
