Seth: Rock band. I don't think that needs any explanation.
Dezi: Cuddling with Peyton!! (See Peyton's answer)
Easton: Playing the piano. I simplified some easy children and church songs for him and he loves practicing them on the piano. He even played "If The Savior Stood Beside Me" and "Book of Mormon Stories" for Family Home Evening, and we were actually able to sing along, sometimes very slowly, but he was very proud and so were we.
Cole: Reading/looking at books. One morning he probably brought 50 books into my room so he could sit in my rocking chair and look at them all. At one point Peyton climbed up, squished in next to him and Cole 'read' to him, and on the ones Cole didn't have memorized, he said "Sorry Pey. We just have to look at this one." Once he looked at all of them, he ran back into his room for more.
Peyton: Sleeping in mom and dad's bed. He is very good about going to sleep at 8 in his own bed. But every single morning at 4:45 a.m. (seriously, you could set a clock to him) he wakes up crying/calling for me. I give him a little juice and then he snuggles right up next to me and falls back asleep. Now just to decide how long I should let this go on.

Swimming Lessons
Cole just finished swimming lessons, if you can even call them that. They were the preschool level and it was mostly exploring the water and feeling comfortable in it by playing games. He was super excited and started his first day good. However, after nearly drowning the first day (yes, Seth had to jump in and grab him because neither of his teachers or the lifeguards noticed he couldn't get up) he was understandably nervous. Seth and I had to take turns each day going in the water with him, til the last 3 lessons. If he wasn't thinking too much about it, he would do everything they asked, blow bubbles, put face in water, talk to the fish and listen for them to talk back and I'm very proud of him. Hopefully if we go swimming enough, he'll go back to how he was before his tramautic experience and love the water.
Let Him Eat Cake
Here's just a few pictures of my baby eating his birthday cake. For lunch, we had his favorite food - fruits and vegetables - and I guess he filled up on that because he didn't really eat too much of the cake. He certainly made a mess, but for some reason he's a healthy little boy. Now if only I could get his older brothers to follow his example.

Happy Birthday Peyton!
Oh wow! We can't believe you've been in our family for a year! It really seems like you were just coming home from the hospital. Even Easton agrees, this morning when he woke up, he exclaimed, "I can't believe you are one Peyton! I just can't believe it!" You have been an absolutely wonderful baby, brother and son. What a lucky family we are!
The day you came home from the hospital Birthday Breakfast
How happy you were after you blew the candle out (you shocked us all when you really did it by yourself)
Top Ten Things We Love About Peyton
1. Your smile. When you smile, there is not a person in this world who wouldn't smile back.
2. Your hugs. Usually by 1, our babies don't like cuddling, but you just can't seem to get enough, and neither can we.
3. Your desire to be like your brothers. You constantly have at least 1 bruise to prove you are trying your best to follow them around. (in this picture, I think you can see 5 bruises just on your poor head)
4. Your persistence. No matter how many times mom takes you off the stool, you go straight back to it and climb to the top.
5. Your love for dad. The happy dance you do, as soon as you hear the garage door opening when dad comes home, is one of the cutest things ever!
6. Your expressions. Whether you're feeling happy, sad, mad or scared, your face always says it all.
7. You willingness to share. You try to share everything and anything, even your toothbrush by trying to stick it in anyone's mouth.
8. Your laugh. It has be one of the sweetest sounds in the world.
9. "Cause you're so cute!" -Easton
10. "Because you laugh at me!" -Cole

Things We Miss This Week
Air Conditioner! The air conditioner in our durango broke. One afternoon we drove from my sisters' house in Provo to home, just an hour away ;), while the temperature was 103 degrees! By the time we got home all 3 of my poor boys' shirts were soaked! We went and sat near the cooler and had a bunch of popsicles and cold drinks. Even after some cooling off, my boys still looked pretty exhausted from the heat. Ugh. Guess I should get it fixed.

Lagoon
We went to Lagoon, and thanks to my mom's work, we got to go completely free. The boys loved it! Easton said he wanted to stay there all night long. Easton and Cole went on the Puff roller coaster all by themselves. I can't believe they are big enough to do that!
Peyton got to go on his first ride, which he loved...
but for the most part, this is how Peyton spent his time.
I'm so bugged that I didn't think to take Peyton's hat off for this picture, cause I think it would have been the cutest picture, but now his hat just distracts. Oh well, at least he doens't have a sunburned head. :) I guess it's still pretty cute.

Things We Love This Week
All of us: Playing outside! We cannot get enough of playing outside, no matter how hot it is. Peyton can be super cranky inside, but the minute we get outside he is as happy as can be. My boys ask to play in their little pool pretty much every day. Peyton is not a fan of getting in the water and I don't blame him. I stuck my foot in the other day and I couldn't stand it! I don't know how the boys enjoy it. Maybe I'll figure out a way to warm up the water. Peyton is getting the cutest little farmers tan ever! (I promise I always slather on the sunscreen, as is obvious from Easton and Cole still being so white even though they are outside almost every day.) I happen to be getting a fabulous tan on my feet. :) The boys also love playing baseball outside. Seth has been teaching Easton how to hit and the other day Cole was trying to hit a baseball off a tee, and Easton went up to him and said "No, Cole you have to hold your elbow up and stand here and look at the ball the whole time. Okay?" I guess he really has been listening to Seth.
Awesome Aunt!
I just wanted to show pictures of my boys with one of the coolest aunts in the world. :) This was when they got to spend a little time at Mandie's condo. My boys (well Peyton isn't quite there yet, but he is a big time momma's boy) absolutely adore Mandie. Any time I say anything about seeing Mandie they start to jump for joy. Thanks for being such a wonderful aunt to my boys. We love you!
(To any other aunt or uncle who may read this, my boys love you too, we just don't have any pictures. :)
