Easton started first grade yesterday. He was SO excited. All day Sunday he kept saying "I can't believe I get to go to school tomorrow!" But then on Monday morning at 6, he woke up and came and told me "I'm actually a little scared mom." He watched a tv show and then went back to bed for like 45 minutes. When he woke back up he seemed totally fine, so we got ready and took him to school. And he was so big and brave - went right into class, found his place and started doing work. And I was okay too. :) The night before I got a little teary as I was helping him pack his lunch and during their school blessings from Seth (Cole starts kindergarten in a week), but overall, I'd say I was a very brave mom.

How fun. I totally broke down on the way home today after taking Carson to his first day. I was brave while he saw me, but as soon as I started thinking about how long it was, I lost it. He's a cutie!
Today's the first day of school for kids around here and this morning as I was jogging and watching them all walk to school, I starting thinking about when Ty will go to school! I can't imagine!! I'm sure I'll be a big baby. I can't even go to work and leave him at home with dad. :) Easton looks so grown up! Wow, 1st first grade!!
