First Day of Kindergarten

Easton had his first day of Kindergarten on Monday and then had the rest of the week off while his teacher met with each student individually. He was super excited as soon as he woke up that morning. And I wasn't feeling sad at all, like I was expecting to, I was just feeling excited for him.

Before getting in the car to go to school
Sitting at his table for the first time (I think he thought I was just going to take off, so he got a little nervous)
Feeling a little more relaxed
As he was walking up to me when we went to pick him up
I asked him how his day was and he said "Fine." I said "Just fine? Wasn't it fun?" And he said, "Sure, fun and fine." I was expecting a lot more excitement out of him, but oh well, I guess the first day wasn't thrilling - except for the huge tower he built with blocks and that he could do the monkey bars all by himself 'cause his feet touch the ground' (he did eventually expand on what 'fine' meant). So yea! to our big boy for being so grown up and brave! (and me, cause I didn't even shed a tear :)
